Joule continued to successfully deliver exciting projects throughout 2009, and into 2010. Project management for London’s Southbank Centre is ongoing - Joule is there to coordinate the government funded Future Jobs Project, to place 30 unemployed young people into new jobs as well as producing events in the concert halls. Joule’s expertise in training grew in 2009, managing the Udderbelly Training Academy on the South Bank, and the events course at Tower Hamlets Summer University. Summer festival fun in 2009 included the Shoreditch Festival, The Big Event and the Alternative Village Fete with Home Live Art, and New Voices with Praxis. Joule wrapped up the annual winter festivities at Chrisp Street Market and is in planning for exciting projects across London with Home Live Art, as well as Free the Word – the annual festival of international literature - in 2010.
