Beijing Olympic Torch Run 2008

Joule was invited to work with the GLA, LOCOG, TFL and the MET to help co-ordinate the Beijing Olympic Torch Relay in London, for the 2008 World Olympics. The logistics involved moving the 36 vehicles, which accompanied the celebrity torchbearers and the flame attendants, following a strict timetable for television broadcast, as the flame journeyed through the capital. Joule’s additional role involved co-ordinating one of the events that greeted the Olympic flame, at the Southbank Centre.
